Empowering Birth, Nurturing Families
At the heart of my work is a commitment to whole-person care, supporting families through every stage, from preconception to postpartum. As a BSN-trained nurse and Simmons College graduate (Class of 2012), I bring both clinical knowledge and deep compassion to the birth space. Whether assisting in home births alongside a midwife or educating expectant families, my approach is rooted in honoring the physical, emotional, and spiritual journey of each individual. I believe in the innate strength of the female body and strive to create an inclusive, welcoming space where all families feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Transforming prenatal care
As a 3rd generation nurse I come from a long line of women who inherently advocate and nurture others. I’m a mom to 3 incredible children: a son born at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a daughter born at Newton Wellesley and my youngest daughter born at home, all with midwives. After giving birth to my son I knew, I wanted to focus my career on supporting women and the beautiful gift of birth. I loved my pregnancy and want every woman to feel supported like I did. I first thought that I could do this in the medical field, but it just didn’t feel like enough time was spent with moms and families.
As a maternal child health nurse, I bring experience from hospitals, health centers, and home settings. I’ve built on my passion for maternal care while earning certifications in child birth education, lactation certification, and Full Circle Doula training.
