“Janelle was our postpartum doula when our family welcomed our second daughter in June 2021. During what was a very chaotic time with a newborn and toddler, Janelle was calm and supportive bringing a peaceful energy into our home. During her first few visits she helped me in my healing and breastfeeding process and gave us a much needed extra set of hands for our 2.5 year old toddler. In a time when our attention was very divided, I was glad my toddler was able to feel special and have fun. Our newborn had reflux, colic, and slow weight gain issues.

Janelle brought her professional nursing experience and her own personal experience as a mom to help answer my questions, give advice, and help soothe the baby. She even let us borrow a baby scale so I could check weight gain. It was so helpful to have her expertise while I navigated the postpartum process. In the midst of all of that she somehow also managed to fold our laundry, pick up the house, prepare meals, and clean up the kitchen while I was able to shower or just take a short break. My whole family looked forward to her visits. We felt taken care of, supported, and we loved chatting with her when she was here. I truly believe everyone should work with a doula and Janelle is one of the best. I only wish we could have worked with her for longer!”
