In this class we will discuss what your new life with your little one will look like. How and when to sleep, how to know when your little one is hungry, and the basics of newborn care.
We will discuss:
Newborn care- including bathing, nail clipping /filing diapering, and swaddling your baby
Taking baby’s temperature and knowing when to seek medical attention
strategies to calm and comfort your baby
sleep and your newborn
Recognizing feeding cues and your baby’s communication patterns
community resources that can help ease your transition into parenthood
Adjustment to parenthood and maintaining connection with others
